PS4 owners without a Plus subscription can instead manually back their files up to an external USB drive by selecting >. If your PS4 is set to remain connected to the Internet at all times, you can select > to regularly back your saves up to the PS Plus cloud. On the PlayStation 4, you get up to 100GB of space for cloud saves as a benefit for being a PlayStation Plus subscriber. You don't actually have to do anything to activate this feature as long as you have an Xbox Live subscription, whether it's Silver or Gold. If you're playing Minecraft on an Xbox, any Xbox Live account offers the option of automatically backing your save files up to cloud storage. On PC/Mac versions of Minecraft, you only need to copy your world folders somewhere else, such as to an external drive or another folder on the same computer. On Windows 10, you can find your local Minecraft saves at C:\Users\(your username)\ AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\. On Apple iOS, check Apps//Documents/games/com.mojang/. If disaster strikes-corrupted files, vindictive siblings, hardware failures, you name it-you can simply revert to your most recent working backup and keep building.
